This is our first Christmas tree, we decorated it with authentic climbing gear ornaments! Rather creative for poor newly weds like us!
This Picture was taken at the Mormon Tabernacle Christmas Concert. We drove all the way to SLC to see the Music and the Spoken word. Only to find out you needed tickets. Watching it on the TV in the old Tabernacle was still way cool!
One of my favorites activities every year is my Grandma's Mom Dee Dee's Kurt Bestor Christmas fund raiser concert. Mom Dee Dee invited Lynne and Steve this year, it was a blast having them.

The Traditional Girls Christmas Party! All the gifts were home made and under five dollars. The winner of the most creative present went to Jerrica. She made us slippers out of Maxy pads!
Steve and Lynne stayed with us for a few days in our new home. It was so much fun having them. I invited my parents over and we made a turkey dinner for them. It was a fun night with lots of laughs. One thing to keep in mind this was the first time I made a turkey dinner and I think my Dad was very surprised to learn I could cook. :)
This is my favorite picture, cause my Dad pinched my mom's bottom while we were taking the picture. But my mom thought it was Daniel trying to pinch my bottom. Which sent my mom in to a hysterics of laughter! :)
Our Christmas Eve morning activity, up Waterfall Canyon. If yo look Closely Daniel is the small DOT. We spent the rest of the day Snow Shoeing and opening Christmas PJ's!

Daniel gave up ice climbing to go horse back riding with me.But settled climbing the tree instead! :)

ReplyDeleteIt was so great spending time with you in your first home especially at Christmas time. You both made us feel so comfortable. We loved the meal and especially visiting with your parents again. They are so fun to be around. Loved the picture of Daniel hanging in the tree and we enjoyed seeing you and Daniel work together so well fixing food in the kitchen. There was so much we loved; especially the concert and spending some time with grandmother, Dee Dee. She is a real lady
